As a student lead class like newspaper it can be hard to stay focused and be motivated. With Kayl Auch, newspaper’s Editor-in-Chief, is the mind behind the madness as he keeps us on trach and puts all the complex puzzle pieces together to get a well finished paper published each month. Although Auch wasn’t fully set on joining the newspaper when he applied, it has had an amazing impact on his life and creating a future for him.
“ I would like to be a film editor when I get older because I really enjoy making films and it is still in the journalism Field,” Senior Kayl Auch said.
As well as playing an important role in newspaper, Auch recently joined broadcasting.
“Joining advanced broadcasting my senior year was a really good decision but it was hard going into it because I didn’t know what I was going but I had a lot of friends to help me figure it out.” Auch said.
Auch is very involved in his school. He played varsity football this year. Although newspaper is an all day event, he made it work.
“Balancing wasn’t too hard because whenever I wasn’t here Cici, the design editor was always there,” Auch said.
Being composed is very important in such a big job like Editor-in-Chief. It can be very stressful to publish a newspaper every month.
“The most stressful thing about being in charge is whenever stuff doesn’t go the way it should having to overcome those obstacles and find a better solution even if it’s last minute” Auch said.
