Last night the KC Royals made history! If you missed this game, boy, you should feel dumb right about now. 30 years of frustration solved in one magical night. Our boys brought it home for the Volquez family and the rest of Kansas City. The game was off to a rough start, and it was a nail biter until the 9th inning. Mets Matt Harvey’s selfishness led to the demise of the Mets. Harvey persisted to finish pitching 9 consecutive innings, but it did not work out for the Mets best interest. Harvey walked Cain, and Hosmer sacrificed a hit in order to get Cain to second. Then Hosmer’s RBI double scored Cain. It was 2-1, Mets. Finally the Mets coach pulled Harvey, and the Royals sent pinch hitter Colon to try and finish the 9th. At this point, I was about to cry tears of joy. Then Moose hit a grounder, getting Hosmer to third. Now at this point I have no nails left, and Salv-adorable was up. Salvy came in clutch, and Hosmer showed some great base running abilities. ALL TIED UP! 2-2!  I couldn’t believe it. Everything we were waiting for happened. To the extras we went, and it wasn’t until the 12th inning that we scored 5 runs. Subbing in Colon was the best idea Yost had ever had; he helped win that game for the Royals. It was by far the greatest victory ever! PARTY LIKE IT’S 2015, BABY!!!
