The library is an open book

The library is a place where people can find books and lose themselves in their own worlds, a place where people can forget about the world around them for a bit, it’s also a place for students and teachers to improve their learning.
“I find it fun to be in the library and it is a quiet place to work on homework and read,” Sophomore Katie Wilson said.
The school can be a noisy place so it can be quite difficult to find somewhere quiet to work on homework. Also getting away from the stress of schoolwork can be difficult. Reading is a great way to relax, although finding a book can be a difficult task.
“Personally I like to buy my own books but when I walk around by the bookshelves I see a lot of books that have books that I like.” Wilson said.
Students aren’t the only ones that benefit from the library, the teachers also have many uses for the library, such as using the computers or letting the students choose books to read for lessons.
“The library has a lot of resources that I’m not familiar with yet, but the librarians help us out by telling us the latest and greatest resources that will help us with my teaching and my students learning.” English teacher Ms. Turner said.
The library has many resources that can be used for learning and for teaching, and the librarians particularly help her class a lot.
“Ms. King and Ms. Sumy are really good resources, I also appreciate the support staff Ms. Kellermeyer and Ms. Priebe they all work really well with kids and really support the students,” Ms. Turner said.
