It’s football season again, and everyone looks forward to being part of the electric student section that is North Nation. However, we don’t have to wait for Friday night football games to be loud and proud. Other sports that don’t receive the same support deserve a sea of navy and gold at their games as well, and it should be a goal to bring it to them. There’s nothing quite like cheering under the lights at Jewell, so why not bring that energy to the soccer games, softball games, swim meets, and so on? Instead of spending every week waiting on Friday, we can have something to be excited about every day of the week. Every athlete at North puts in the hard work and effort, and every athlete deserves to have a roaring crowd behind them. Supporting athletics is one of the many things that makes our school great, so let’s help North Nation continue to improve and grow.
