Movies can be described in countless ways. One of those ways is ‘eh’. Jupiter Ascending is an ‘eh’ film. Released on February 6th, not many have been raving to go out and see it. Had I known what to expect I probably wouldn’t have gone out myself.

The movie starts off with lots of action, mixed with the base of a love story. The character Jupiter is born and from then on is a target for extraterrestrial subjects. Jupiter is kidnapped and is classified as universal royalty. Jupiter then has to decide how she is going to use her power, and fights other planet’s royalty.

For action lovers, you will definitely get your fix. Two-thirds of the movie is fighting using weapons that are out of this world (from the planet Kalique to be specific). The special effects are very vivid and will keep the viewer entertained.

Yes, you are probably extremely lost, bored, and about to click right out of this review. Leave with this thought though, save yourself the money. Do not go see Jupiter Ascending.
