Inside Review On Hello Dolly

On February 13 and 14, the curtain went up for the musical Hello Dolly in the Liberty North Performing Arts Theatre.  The students who were apart of the production had worked together with pit and the directors to come up with what they hoped was an enjoyable musical. Although there were a few bumps on the road during the performance, the cast did not let that stop them from making the audience laugh and smile.

“I really liked it. The show was smooth flowing and of course the waiters were my favorite part,” Junior Kenzie Blankenship said.

The orchestra pit also did their part in working with the cast to create music for the cast to be able to sing and dance to. Overall the musical production Hello Dolly was a romantic comedy that allowed the audience to be able to enjoy themselves. The performance was an interesting show to watch. Not only did the show have some enjoyable songs to listen to. The performance also had some outstanding flips and jumps from the waiters that made the audience applauded.

I personally thought that the performance of Hello Dolly had a different twist on a society on ladies trying to find love. I also enjoyed the flips and jumps done by the actors. It was an entertaining musical that made me smile and laugh pretty much through out the entire show.

” I found that the piece was well written and well preformed, I also thought the director had good visions for the play itself,” junior Kayla Schulte said.
