Say Hello to Adele because she’s back. Adele’s hit new single “Hello” set a record for the most U.S. downloads sold in a week (1.11 million). The song anticipates her coming album 25, and has plenty of fans excitedly waiting now. Her last album will be one hard to match and many people thought Adele was never going to come back after having her child and somewhat settling down into a normal life. Adele’s lyrics in Hello seem to relate to her last album 21, a call out to a long-lost ex who she still has unresolved feelings towards. Adele cleared up that this song and following album are not about the same guy and is about a self journey were she reconnects with herself. Some people were disturbs with the line “hello from the other side” in the song, Adele claims it’s more about just making it out of your teen years and onto the other side of becoming an adult. Her symbolic music allows teenagers and adults to easily relate to her music in numerous ways. Adele is back, and I can’t wait to hear the rest of her new album.
