People say a picture is worth a thousand words…. More like a thousand dollars! The prices of senior pictures are outrageous. Photographers seem to think people are just made of money. Photographers charge you for so many things. First, before anything you have to pay a session fee, which can cost anywhere from 80 dollars to 175 dollars. Then you have to decide how many outfits you want to wear, and with every outfit you decide on the price goes up. The next step is to pick out whether you want inside or outside photos, and which seasons you want to have your pictures taken in and that also raises the price. After you are done taking your pictures you have to then sit down and decided what pictures you want, how many you want, and what sizes you need. When you are picking pictures for your family you have to think of what they want and what size they are going to want. Pretty soon you are not just picking out pictures, you are picking out packages. Very, very expensive packages of pictures, and they never have exactly what you need so you always end up buying more than you want. It is a little crazy that you have to pay anywhere from 1,000 dollars and up just for some photos.
