Blind Coffee Taste Test

Coffee is a drink that is very popular to many teens in high school. Senior Tori Nathan, Junior Chris Kidd, and Freshman Abby Dutton did a blind coffee taste test during eagle hour January 26th. There were three clear cups numbered one, two, and three all with mochas in them. Cup one had Caribou, cup two had Starbucks, and cup three had QuikTrip.

“If I had to pick one I would pick number three because it has more of a sweeter taste,” freshman Abby Dutton said.

Cup number three with the QuikTrip kitchen coffee was the cheapest out of the three places and was liked more than the more expensive Starbucks.

“If I had to pick one I would pick number three because it was stronger and more rich,” junior Chris Kidd said.

While the Caribou coffee was not as popular as QuikTrip, it still beat out the more popular contender Starbucks.

“If I had to pick, I would pick number one because it was stronger to me and I liked it,” senior Tori Nathan said.

Coffee number two which was Starbucks was the least favorite and was the most expensive and more well known of the three for coffee. The most popular was cup number three with the QuikTrip coffee but 7/10 people get fountain drinks in the morning rather than coffee. For all of the coffee lovers out there, trying the QuikTrip kitchen for some cheap coffee that two out of three people liked more than the popular Starbucks is the way to go.
