On this week’s episode of the Bachelor, the first date was a one on one date with Lauren B. On this date, the sky was the limit. Ben took Lauren up in a biplane, which is known for its twists and turns and stalls. At first, she seemed nervous, but then became more relaxed as the flight progressed. During the flight, the pilot did a couple turns and what not, and they flew over the mansion, making the other girls extremely jealous. The pilot then landed the plane in an open meadow area. Ben and Lauren left the plane and walked through this open area, and “happened” upon a hot tub. The two changed into their bathing suits and relaxed in hot tub, and took the time to drink some champagne and get to know each other a little better. After the hot tub they continued their date at a sit down dinner and shared what they wanted their lives to be like in the future. The date ended on a happy note with Ben asking Lauren if she would accept the rose, which she did.

The following date was a very large group date. The date included, Haley, Emily, Leah, Rachel, Olivia, Lace, Sushana, Jami, Amber, Jennifer, and Lauren H. The girls ran drills with the national team’s Alex Morgan, and Kelley O’Hara. After getting some practice in the girls were then split into two teams and played two 15-minute halves against each other. The catch was, whichever team won the soccer game, got to continue on the date with Ben later that night, and the other team would have to return to the mansion. The girls went with their respective coaches to the locker rooms and changed into their uniforms, the stars and the stripes. The stripes started out strong, winning two goals, and the stripes fought back hard and caught back up. The goalie for the stars was Twin Emily, and she was in beast mode, blocking every shot the stripes tried to take. At the end of the fifteen minutes, the teams were tied three to three. Rachel on the stars team was injured but wanted to play through the pain to try and win the date. Olivia (on the stripes) took advantage of the injured play and with an assist and goal made by Amber the stripes won the game. Later that night, the stripes continued their date at the hotel. Olivia grabbed Ben before the other girls got a chance, and they went up to his hotel room AGAIN! The schemer that she is Olivia took Ben to the balcony and they were looking over the edge and the other girls. Olivia yelled hi over the edge to intentionally make the other girls made and jealous. The other girls then, proceeded to pick apart Olivia’s appearance, and Jami told her once she returned to the group. This date ended when Amber received the rose, for opening up to Ben.

The last date of the week was a one on one date with Jubilee and Ben. Jubilee came across very awkward the morning of her date. She kept mentioning that Ben was late, and when the girls asked if she was excited, she just kind of shrugged the question off. When Ben showed up, he joined the girls on the couch and asked Jubilee if she was excited, and then she told him that he was 20 minutes late! The girls then heard a helicopter overhead and Ben asked Jubilee if she was ready that their ride had arrived. Apparently Jubilee is afraid of heights, and before she got into the helicopter, she shouted to the group of girls over her shoulder, and asked if anyone wanted her date. This made the other girls mad, they thought that she was ungrateful and didn’t expect her to return that evening. Jubilee and Ben flew in the helicopter to a health and wellness spa, where they were going to spend the rest of the day relaxing. Jubilee continued to seem ungrateful once they were inside the wellness spa, spitting out the caviar that was presented for them. As the date continued, they played shuffleboard, and Jubilee opened up a little more. She made a joke about how she planned on winning and called Ben white boy. Later on the date, they relaxed in a hot tub, and Jubilee opened up even more, she told been about how she’s awkward, and how she tells jokes so that she’s more comfortable, and told him how she wasn’t sure if he would react in a good way to the white boy joke, but that she was glad that he had. The date continued later that night at a sit down dinner where Jubilee told Ben that she had a lot of layers. She told Ben about her deepest darkest feelings and emotions, and Ben seemed very grateful for her being open with him, and trusting him. He then in turn asked her to accept the rose and that was the end of that date.

On the night of the rose ceremony, Ben comes in with a heavy heart. He received a call about the death of two people from his hometown. In his interview he said it would be nice to have one of the girls lend their ear for him to talk to them and just to sit with them. Olivia was the first one to pull Ben from the group. She sat him down and instead of asking how he was, she started talking about how she hates her legs and feet. She seems to be showing a more conceited side as the show progresses. The girls then, get very annoyed with Jubilee, because first of all she’s pulling away from the group, and then that evening, she pulls Ben away and gives him a massage, taking time from the girls who don’t have roses, while she’s safe for the next week. There is a group of girls who decide they want to say something to Jubilee. Instead of it being a conversation with Jubilee, it seems more like a confrontation, and Jubilee gets extremely irritated, and storms of, showing us yet another layer. Ben feels responsible for the feelings in the house, so he goes to check on Jubilee, spending even more time with her, and Amber proceeds to go to Jubilee to try and have this conversation, about how the girls felt she wasn’t being considerate about the time she was taking from them. Ben stood up from Jubilee, and then they proceeded to meet in the sitting room before the rose ceremony. Crazy Lace pulled Ben from the group, and told him that she thought it would be better for her to go home, that she couldn’t love somebody until she loved herself. At the rose ceremony, two girls went home, Jami and Sushana.
