The season of scary costumes, makeup and changing leave is upon us, and visiting haunted houses is a very popular hobby in October. Worlds of Fun offers a large variety of haunted houses, including an asylum, vampire lair, and many other options to scare you. My personal favorite definitely has to be Corn Stalkers. It is super creative, and includes a tall corn maze with twists and turns, and plenty of small crevices for people to hide. Other than that, Worlds of Fun has Zombie High, a fairly new attraction that takes you through a ‘high school’ filled with zombies. The others, Bloodshed and McCarthy’s Doll Factory are still not pee-yourself scary, but the scariest is definitely Asylum Island. With ‘crazy’ people screaming and running around, it’s easy to find yourself screaming and rushing to get out. All in all, Worlds of Fun has many attractions for the fall season if you are looking to be scared, but the scariest aspect has to be the length of their lines.
