Liberty North Stuco creates many fun activities for the school to enjoy. This week (12/11-12/15) is the winter break spirit week. They have came up with 5 different and unique spirit days that theme with Christmas. If you do not want to match with the theme they give color options to wear for the day! Stuco has also come up with fun activities you can attend to during your Flex period. They called one of them Cocoa, Cookies, and Cramming. “I love being in Stuco, it is great to be apart of such a fun community and also being able to be around all the fun activities during the school year. I love theming our spirit weeks.” sophomore Avery Pelzl said.

Cocoa, Cookies, and Cramming was a fun activity to attend to Wednesday, December 13th. In the Library you could enjoy hot chocolate and cookies while studying with friends or on your own. They had a variety of different cookies, including oreos, cookie cake, chocolate chip cookies, etc. On the LNHS stuco page on Instagram you can see many different students enjoying the hot cocoa with friends! “The hot chocolate was so good and I can’t even remember how many cookies I had but it was a lot, I loved studying with my best friend Claire, we got so much work done while also being able to have fun and talk for a little while.” sophomore Sawyer Hennigh said.

Spirit week for (12/11-12/15) was a hit! Each day there was a different theme that correlated with Christmas. The themes are as follows. Polar Express Monday, wear your pajamas to school or wear the color blue. Holitacky Tuesday, where an ugly sweater or white. Whoville Wednesday, crazy hair day or wear green. Twinkle toes Thursday, wear fun holiday socks or the color gold. Finally, Woodchuckin’ into the weekend, where flannel or red. Many students and faculty participated in the Christmas spirit week. Flyers as well as posts on social media were everywhere to spread the Christmas spirit before the winter break.
