A New Wing for the Eagles

This year, the school opened up a new wing, eliminating the need for trailers and providing more space for group study, as well as room for students to go during Eagle Hour. The layout allows for students to spread out and work quietly on homework assignments, as well as study.

“This will provide more space for students to go during eagle hour and late start and a change of scenery for classes that might occasionally meet there. I’m really excited about the new wing, I like it a lot,” sophomore Kailey Mgrdichian said.

The new wing provides more space for group collaboration, as well as areas for independent study. There are open spaces for classes to go to for projects and tests. The Learning Stairs are useful for lectures and speeches, as well as student presentations.

“I like the learning stairs because I can study on them and it helps me stay focused as I do my homework because it’s quieter than being in a classroom,” freshman Cassie Stwalley said.

The new wing eliminated the need for trailers, which to some students, is definitely a relief. The new wing has enough room for all of the classrooms that were once in trailers, as well as new science labs.

“I like the new wing because I won’t have to go outside in the winter to get to my classes,” sophomore Anna Frazier said.
