Ever since last season’s success, the Royals have captured the hearts and attention of baseball fans around the world. Our favorite team hasn’t been doing too shabby this season, either. With wins at 20 and losses at 12, they are currently first in the AL Central Division. They lead in the Major Leagues in runs defensed, and are second for batters hit by pitchers.

This success has led us all to be familiar with the term “Be Royal Kansas City”. It’s easy to believe that KC has established their pride with the success of our team. The season has touched more than just the hearts of baseball fans. They might as well have created the word bandwagon, considering the vast majority of fans in Missouri and Kansas that don’t even watch baseball. The Royals and the season they occupy is changing KC forever and making all of us just a little more royal.
