The Chiefs are the NFL team for Kansas City, Missouri. They play in the AFC West division. The story of the Chiefs is pretty interesting. They first started in 1960 and didn’t do too well. Their first-ever game played was a defeat against the Chargers. They soon moved to Kansas City and changed their name. Since then they have only won 3 Super Bowls in franchise history. That brings us to today. They are doing well this season, so far this season their record is 3-1 with a 3-win streak. This season Connor Orr from Sports Illustrated predicted an 11-6 record by the end of the season. This prediction shows that the Chiefs are doing very well and will hopefully do very well in the future. Now to hear a very strong opinion on what this student’s thoughts are on the Chiefs.
“I don’t like the Chiefs at all. I like the Broncos and since they’re in the same division they’re kind of rivals. I hate the Chiefs so much but anyone can tell how they are a talented team with a lot of great players. They will probably be a dynasty for many years, unfortunately.” says freshman Dade Nielson.
He doesn’t like the Chiefs very much but still respects them as a solid team.
“They’ll probably make it to the playoffs and go pretty far. They might even make it to the Super Bowl and win. I really hope they don’t but I’ve just accepted it.” says Nielson.
Everyone has different opinions about players and positions on the field. A student has some opinions of his own.
“My favorite player on the Cheifs is Isaiah Pacheco because of how fast and physical he is. I like offense better than defense because it is fun to watch Patrick move down the field and exploit the defense’s weaknesses” says freshman Dillon Vongunten
In more interesting news, the “Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift relationship”. According to NBC News “A source close to the “Anti-Hero” singer confirmed to NBC News that Swift and Kelce were “hanging out”.” Could this be confirmation of an early start to a relationship? Maybe so. Talyor Swift has also attended the last two Chiefs games and this has been the latest social media craze.
