As the Royals have continued to win in the playoffs, students have developed superstitious tendencies.

“If I am working the game, I have to have my attention on the t.v. If we start doing bad, I get out of my counter, where I am working register, and I sit in front of the t.v. and watch it. When I am at home, I cannot watch it because we will lose,” junior Madalyn Mosbauer said.

The Royals are currently 7-0 and hoping for another win. Could the people who participate in these superstitions really be helping?

“I get the guacamole dip out for each game and we are still winning, so it has worked so far,” sophomore Brennon Giffords said.

Kansas City is coming together to support the Royals, and with one more win the Royals will be on their way to the World Series!

“With the way we are playing right now, we will be going to the World Series because they have not lost the fun in baseball, and because I wear blue for each game we have,” senior John Foreman said.
