Last night kicked off the annual Liberty North Nest Fest, a carnival put on by Student Council to celebrate Homecoming week. Nest Fest is an event where people can enjoy fun booths and activities ran by students, teachers, and organizations throughout the school.

“Nest fest is like a carnival for the clubs. I ran the Model UN booth where we played four square. We had a lot of young kids and seniors get really into it and they all had a lot of fun,” senior Connor Thompson said.

Nest Fest is a way for individuals to get pumped up for Homecoming, which many Liberty North students are looking forward to. Everyone at the event got to experience the Homecoming spirit and got to know a little bit more about who the Homecoming candidates are.

“I love Nest Fest! It always gets me really excited for Homecoming, along with spirit week at school. I really liked getting to see all of the Homecoming candidates, and I can’t wait to see who wins this Friday,” senior Madison Davis said.

Nest Fest is open to the entire community, not just students and teachers at Liberty North. It’s a way for different groups of people to meet each other, come together, and have a good time.

“I love that Nest Fest is open to anyone and everyone. It’s awesome how people become unified in that way. Nest Fest is a great way to get to know other people and have fun with them,” senior Kennie Knauth said.
