Eagles Fall to Park Hill South 11-4 in the game of the week.

Last night on September 9th the Liberty North Eagles battled the Park Hill South Panthers in softball in a back and forth game that ended in a Liberty North loss. Though we lost there were a few bright spots, Olivia Daugherty being one, she had herself a stellar performance, going four for four with a solo home run that sparked the eagles three run third inning. The Panthers answered right back with a three run top of the fourth and the eagles could only muster one more run, coming off of a Kelsey Templeton bunt hit and an Olivia Daugherty RBI single, which came in a rather feeble comeback attempt late in the game in the seventh inning. The losing pitcher was Hannah Simmons who gave up six runs, only five being earned, through 4 and two thirds innings pitched. The eagles drop to seven wins and five losses on the season, and look to improve that record in another away game tonight versus Lee’s Summit West High School at 4:00 at Lee’s Summit West.
