Wreck It Ralph

Coming soon, on November 2, video game icons will sweep the nation and take over theatre screens.

The new Disney movie “Wreck It Ralph” will feature many famous actors voicing, including John C. Reilly. The movie is a spin off of typical stereotyped 80’s video games and their icons.

Ralph, the main character who is featured in the make believe game “Fix It Felix,” is a video game villain who is tired of being the bad guy and goes on an adventure looking for something new. His friends who are villain icons from famous Nintendo games are against his ambitions, but in the end let him go look for what he’s searching for.

” I’m not a big fan of 8 bit video games but this movie looks really cool. I love the message behind it,” Junior Amanda Heuertz said.

The movie’s motif is no matter what people think of you, you should be proud of who you are, because there is only one of you. Ralph jumps video games, making his way throughout the digital world, and finally realizes that being the villain isn’t all that bad, and that he’s appreciated for what he does, because without a villain, there would be no hero.

” I love the message behind this movie and I think making it about video games will expand it to a lot of people,” Sophomore Mackenzie Shannon said.
