Vending Machine Variance

Students at Liberty North have been outraged by a recent change within the school; their favorite snacks have been removed from the vending machines. The student body complains that they are starving during the school day without their daily candy bars, but in reality, it is not that big of an issue. I never have had a visit to the automated sugar dispensers, and I find all the upset about the changes to be rather obnoxious.

The school district made these changes in an attempt to improve the mindset of the student body. Hyperactive teenagers consuming excessive amounts of sugar while trying to maintain focus in class is nearly impossible. I understand that students do get hungry during the school day and use the vending machines to curb their cravings, but why not just bring a snack to school?

If they don’t have time to in the morning, they could just pack it the night before. Or if that is still too much time wasted, they could put a box of snacks in their locker. I think that students should not make such a big deal about sugar-filled snacks being taken out of the vending machines, simply because there are so many other options.
