Spirit Week!

Liberty North is in the midst of a winter spirit week to unhinge tensions that the season brings. While it is getting colder and grayer outside, students are brightening up the hallways with happy attitudes.

“Spirit weeks are good for the school because it shows school spirit throughout the student body. It also shows involvement from the students and the staff here at North,” junior Hunter Kellgren said.

Spirit days are also a great way to get pumped for the upcoming winter sports seasons or activities that go on throughout the winter season.

“Spirit days helps to raise awareness about whatever event or game may be going on. If students participate in the theme, the event becomes even better known throughout the school. It also makes students more willing to go see a game or activity if they have nothing to do after school,” senior Emily McFadden said.

School wide sprit days are a great way to lift the heavy mood set in by the changing season, and also a way to get students more involved in their school. Without a spirit week every once in a while the school year would seemingly drag on forever.
