Movies Turning 10 in 2014

If already being in high school doesn’t make someone feel old, here are 7 movies that are already ten years old in 2014:

  1. The Notebook: The story based around an old man reading to a woman in a nursing home who he often visits. He brings to life the love story between a poor, young man, Noah and a rich, young woman, Allie during the 1940’s. They fall in love with each other but become separated because of World War II. Starring: Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams

“I believe The Notebook is such a popular movie because Ryan Gosling is the lead in it. He makes a lot of girls fall in love with the movie because he is in it. People are also suckers for a good love story. People want to believe in love and there is something about a cute, romantic movie that makes people happy” junior Moira Carder said.

  1. Napoleon Dynamite: Even while he is dealing with his crazy family back at home, a spiritless teenager helps his friend win the school presidency election in their small town highschool. Starring: Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez, Jon Gries

“I love this movie because it’s so dumb that it’s funny. It is probably my favorite movie because it really makes me laugh and the Napoleon quotes are just hilarious to reenact. Now that it has been ten years I feel like I need to watch it again and it makes me feel really old” sophomore Gabby Smith said.
