Long live the innocent cartoons and simple TV shows.  It is genuinely hard to find a TV show that is truly kid friendly; how parents can let their young children place eye on some of the shows today, I have no clue.  Where did the innocence go?  Tom and Jerry, Roger’s Neighborhood, and Dragon Tale’s were some of the best shows, not because of the cussing or crude humor, but because they made kids laugh.

No longer am I able to turn on the TV and not spot some sort of drama.  This society is becoming surrounded by negative, dark, and purely inappropriate acting.  I say bring back what I want to see- which is not steaming make out sessions and street fights.  A good show is not limited to swearing, sexual content, or crude humor, but this is what society has made it.

Simple sitcoms like The Nanny or Friends are hilarious yet do not consist of unrealistic fighting and drama.  It is shows like those that make me wonder how TV has progressed from funny to just plain raunchy.
