How-to: Make “Scotch-A-Roos”

This is a quick and easy grab and go snack for kids on the go. This recipe only takes about 20 minutes to prepare. Very easy for snacks or desserts.

Scotch-A-Roos

Ingredients

-One cup corn syrup

-One cup sugar

-One cup sugar

-Five cups Rice krispies

-Twelve ounce package Milk chocolate chips

-Six ounce package butterscotch chips

 

Directions

Step one: Mix the corn syrup with sugar

Step two: Microwave for two and a half minutes

Step three: Stir in peanut butter and butterscotch chips

Step six: Stir in rice krispies and press into the bottom of a 13×9 (buttered) pan

Step seven: Melt chocolate chips in microwave (Stir occasionally until melted)

Step eight: Pour chocolate evenly over the top of pan and let sit.

Step nine: Cut into squares and serve or store.
