Horrible Bosses 2 Review

When I first caught a glimpse of the trailer for Horrible Bosses 2, I got excited and had to read all about it. The addition of  Chris Pine looked to make this movie a even bigger hit than the first as more “star power” was added. The original was comedy genius and had me rolling the whole time and it has become one of my favorite movies to put on rerun and watch non stop. So you could say expectations for this sequel was very high.

Like most sequels though, it fell short of the original. I just felt the creativity ran out in this movie. Resembling similar story lies and jokes as the original I felt some deja vu watching it. Don’t get me wrong, the movie was still hilarious. Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day can’t go wrong. Charlie Day provides the perfect stupidity while Sudeikis is the king of sarcasm.

The movie springs off the last with the three main characters Nick, Dale, and Kurt. After the first movie, they all become there own bosses at there own companies. Things seemed to be going well until an investor pulled the rug out from under them. In a wild plan Nick, Dale and Kurt decide to kidnap the investors son and hold him as ransom. Thats all I will give ups so the movie is still somewhat enjoyable.

Overall I would give the move a 6/10, it was funny, but felt repetitive.
