Hello Dolly

February 13 and 14 will be big days for the theater kids at Liberty North. These days are when the musical “Hello Dolly” will be performed in the Performing Arts Theater. The cast has been working hard on the musical and is looking forward to their performance. They meet every day after school to rehearse and make sure everything is ready for show time. The show is about Dolly Levi, the famous matchmaker who spends most of her time pairing others together. She soon decides it’s time to settle a match for herself – Horace Vandergelder. The show is full of upbeat and exciting songs and dances.

“I really like the song ‘Put On Your Sunday Clothes’ because I get to dance a lot on stage,” Sophomore Emma Post said.

The cast is very excited about the performance and is eager for the show to finally be performed.

“I’m really excited for the numbers we get to dance because they are really hard numbers and I feel like it’s going to be a lot of fun to do with all the people around.” Freshman Thadeus Acha said.

The show will definitely be an exciting performance that all should attend on February 13 and 14.
