The upcoming new TV series, Gotham, is a pre-telling of the yet to be discovered Batman. The series centers on rookie detective James Gordon, played by Ben McKenzie, who is partnered with veteran Detective Harvey Bullock, Donal Logue. Throughout the series each character we know to be apart of the world of Batman will slowly emerge. The series will take you through the development of young Bruce Wayne played by David Mazouz. Other characters that will surface include Selina Kyle; aka Catwoman, Edward Nygma; aka the Riddler, and Ivy Pepper. Emerge is a keyword for this series, because everything we know about Batman mythology has yet to happen and we get to watch it slowly unfold. Bruno Heller can write it any way he wants. To see the series unfold and to understand what triggered main characters to become who they eventually become is essentially a suspenseful and compelling story.
