I went into that theatre with high hopes for Dumb and Dumber To. As a huge fan of the original, I couldn’t wait to see the exploits of Lloyd and Harry this time. I was disappointed. In the original, the gags and sophomoric humor had me crying from laughter, this time the movie just felt uninspired. There is no doubt in my mind that this movie was not made for the fans of the original, but rather the megabucks they would make at the box office. There were some funny moments, but overall the movie was bland. Some things do not get better with age; sequels are often one of them. If I were given the task of renaming this movie, I feel Dull and Duller would be more fitting.
