Winter or Spring Weather?

This winter has been a somewhat rough one with its up and down temperatures and non consistent weather patterns.

As we approach spring, we look back on this past winter and all of its wonders, and not so wonderful aspects.  The past couple months the weather hasn’t shown any kind of consistency or patterns. One weekend the temperatures are in the forties and fifties, then the following week it drops down below freezing. Students are beginning to get frustrated in hopes that the cold weather will go away, and warm weather will be here to stay.

“The past couple months have really sucked because of the weather. One day I’m outside with just a t-shirt and jeans, then the next day I have to put on a heavy coat so I don’t freeze,” Sophomore Kirsten Fisk said.

With weather like this, it’s not hard to see why students are getting flustered so easily. So far ,this month highs were in the upper fifties and lows were in the teens. With spring quickly approaching, the frigid weather should ease up, making outdoors a little more enjoyable for students.

” I don’t even have the smallest urge to go outside at all. It’s nice and warm, then it’s cold and icy. Until the weather gets nicer I’m going to just stay inside and chill,” Junior Khyle Krogre
