Traveling Student Woes

Traveling Student Woes

Many students who have classes on opposite sides of the school complain about getting there and lugging all of their stuff along with them. But some students have to go to the other side of town. Students at LNHS have the opportunity to take classes at Liberty High School because of their class is too full to take here, or if they want to take a class not offered here at LNHS.

While some traveling students like having a change of environment, being able to get out of school in order to go take a class that they really wanted to take but could not here, others don’t share the same view.

“Sometimes I like being able to travel between schools, but I really don’t like having to waste gas and the schedule can be really confusing on special days.” senior Melissa Peterson said.

For students, the ability to travel between the high schools in our district can be a blessing, but it has its setbacks as well.
