Newspaper brings many added stresses to an already stressful school year. It takes endless amounts of time, hard work, and dedication to put out a paper. After completing two issues of the Eagle’s View Newspaper, we needed a way to celebrate, and grow closer as a staff, and what better way to do that then jump on trampolines for two straight hours?

Recently, the entire Eagle’s View Staff took a trip to Sky Zone located in Shawnee, Kansas. Sky Zone features different types of jumping areas where the walls and floors are covered in trampolines.

We started off the fun in the free jump area where you can practice tricks, and bounce off the walls. We relived our childhood as we remembered how to do toe touches, seat drops, and a variety of other little tricks.

My favorite part of Sky Zone was easily the trampoline dodge ball arena. It brought out the competitive side of everyone as we jumped as high as possible to hit our desired target. We played game after game, until we were all dripping in sweat due to the intense dodge ball games.

Sky Zone is not only a great way to have fun, but it is also an extreme workout. As we ran from the dodge ball arena to the basketball goals, we all got a chance to live our athletic dreams by trying crazy dunks on three different size goals.  The workout picked up as we jump, dove, and flipped into a giant foam pit. By the end of the day the day my whole body was sore, and my muscles were aching.

Sky Zone proved a great way for our staff to bond while letting go, jumping, and laughing together on all the trampolines. Sky Zone brings a fun filled day that you can experience at an affordable price. It is $9 for 30 minutes, and $13 for an hour. They also offer a variety of group rates that could be a good way for team bonding, and a fun idea for a birthday party. It makes for an adventurous day, which our 30 staff members thoroughly enjoyed.
