Last Friday we “raced to victory” with our annual Court warming assembly. The assembly is always a great way to get help get not only both basketball teams engines started and ready for the game that night, but the student body as well. A little friendly competition between under and upper class man for the trophy is the perfect way to get everyone pumped up. The pep-assembly had everything from a basketball shot competition, to a paper ball toss which resulted in the winner receiving a fit bit, all the way to a speed tarp race. All can agree that the most memorable part though was the teacher’s performances in the lip sync battle. The girl band undoubtedly earned the crowd favorite with the classic “lipgloss”. The environment portrayed throughout the entire assembly carried over to the game and resulted in a win over Truman.
