Breakfast With Santa

Breakfast With Santa

“We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!” The Band students and parent volunteers sang to the guests at their Breakfast with Santa, last Saturday on December first. The Band held it’s annual Breakfast with Santa to raise money for their programs.

“I had a really awesome time, getting to hang out with friends and raise money at the same time,” junior Alex Jones said.

The Band serves pancakes, bacon, and sausage, along with assorted drinks for breakfast. They sold the whole breakfast for only five dollars, and it was all you can eat. Along with the breakfast, customers could get a picture with Santa by a Christmas tree, surrounded by presents.

“We wanted to raise money for equipment we need for Winter Guard so we sold cookies,” junior Caitlyn Johnson said.

Santa was seated in the Auxiliary Gym with many vendors from all over Liberty. Many vendors sold homemade goods like foods, and jewelry. One booth even sold massages by the minute. Overall the Breakfast with Santa was a success for the Band, as they made several hundred dollars.
