Black Light Blowout

It’s Saturday night, people are hanging out in the school gym at eight at night. Bass is vibrating through the air and fists are flying up. It’s the black light blowout dance.

” I thought it was a cool idea that people could just show up and just hang out worry free,” Senior Andrew Leseos said.

Saturday, August 25 was the Black Light Blowout, a dance where kids can just hangout without having to worry about getting a date or dressing nice. Instead people just show up in any neon clothing they can find and just show up to chill.

” I didn’t go but I regret it. I heard alot of people were there and that it was pretty awesome. I’ll go next year for sure,” Junior Skylor Hidy said.

Over 200 students showed up to the event held by Stuco, so it was considered successful by the staff of Liberty North. At the dance was a DJ, fog machine, laser lights, and students

” I had a good time just chilling out with people,” Junior Alex Parkins said.
