“Liberty North- District Champions” Nobody in Liberty thought that those words would be in the same sentence. However, on Monday November 11th, 2013, Liberty North put themselves in their own hall of fame. The boys played an incredible game against St. Joe Lafayette with a final score of 35-0. North’s defense put won the battle against St. Joe’s future D1 quarterback to get two interceptions.
Our football team has worked so hard to become what everybody said they couldn’t. They pushed themselves to the limits and practiced everyday to put themselves where they are now. With the schools support and faith in their hearts, they reached their goal and continue to pursue the winning streak by going to Jefferson City this Saturday to play Jeff City Helias.
