The Liberty North Boy’s Swim and Dive team competed in the State Swim Championship over this past weekend in St. Peter’s, Missouri.  Junior Cole Roberts placed 4th in the 50 Free and 7th in the 100 Free, earning all-state honors in both events.  Roberts also improved his school record time in the 100 Free to 47.81.  Senior Kyle Martin placed 5th in the 500 Free and 10th in the 200 Free.  Kyle earned all-state recognition in the 500 Free and all-state honorable mention in the 200 Free.  Martin also broke his school record in both events, swimming 2:45.46 in the 200 Free and dropping his record 6 seconds to 4:45.69 in the 500 Free.

The 200 and 400 Free Relays of Martin, Jordan Went, Nick Roofener and Roberts also both dropped time over the weekend.  The 400 Free relay improved its school record to 3:27.53 and placed 25th overall.  The 200 Free Relay placed 26th.  Overall, the Eagles placed 19th at the state championship.
