Just Another High School Fantasy

Since 1963, fantasy football has been an important part of NFL Sunday. Starting off as friendly competitions taken place in bars and basements, fantasy football has grown into a multimillion-dollar business. The topic of many lunchtime conversations and arguments, fantasy football has firmly wedged itself into high school life. Many Liberty North students are currently apart of fantasy football leagues, and many spend a large amount of time on it.

“I’m on fantasy football all day everyday,” junior Matthew Richards said,  “It makes my Sundays more exciting.”

People can join leagues with friends, or just random leagues on ESPN, NFL.com, etc. Many students prefer to play with friends.

“I like the competition, I do it for the bragging rights” junior, Josh Huertz said.”
