Harbaugh Bowl

Two different teams, two different coaching positions, one sporting event, and one brotherly relationship stand between San Francisco 49’ers coach Jim Harbaugh and Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh, who will meet once again from across the football field.

On February 3, the brothers separated by just 15 months, will be on two different sides of the field of the countries biggest sporting event when the Baltimore ravens- the team John has coached for 5 seasons take on the San Francisco 49ers- the team Jim has coached for 2 seasons in the 47th annual SuperBowl.

According to New York Times, who have spoken with the brothers after it was announced that they would be coaching against each other, that the two and their families consider this rare occasion to be “a blessing and a curse”.

As the two teams have played each other before, it would still be difficult to call it a “rivalry”. Although the two brothers take their coaching careers very seriously, playing each other’s teams is always an entertaining event for the players, the family, and the coaches themselves.

The big game takes place on February 3, in the Super Dome in New Orleans, Louisiana. If you’re going to miss the game, check back here with a review of the Super Bowl from Online Sports Editor, Ben Whalen.
