Looking back, the cross country team really had a great year with an improving season for everyone and great courses.
“My favorite meet was the Gans twilight meet because we got to spend a lot of time together before, and it was such a fun race during the night,” junior Harper Tissing said.
There were many memories made this year that will not be forgotten, that made the team who they are.
“Running as a team and trying a new sport out my senior year was definitely one of my favorite memories this year,” senior Jace Kleinhen said.
With the fun that kept on continuing, many of the runners enjoyed the different courses that they traveled to.
“Blue Valley, The new relay one was my favorite meet because it was so fun, a nice break from 5ks, and I love the team bonding aspect of it,” senior Lydia Yates said.
With the different teams with varsity and jv, along with the C Team, everyone was there to support everyone and work together to be stronger.
“With many of the senior boys leaving, all will be missed. I think that I will miss the Seniors that are leaving and just the fun experiences that I have had with the team,” sophomore Joshua Jones said.
Overall, this year for the 2025 cross country season was very successful, and many had a great year, with many being missed.
