With two thousand seats, two huge video boards, and hundreds of fans less than five feet from the court, Liberty North’s Fieldhouse is one of a kind for high school. The advantage of home court is present in almost all sports. The players are more comfortable and relaxed at home rather than away.

   The Fieldhouse gives an even greater advantage with its atmosphere. Being built in 2010, The Fieldhouse is one of the most modern and college like courts within 100 miles. The field house holds more fans than 5 division 1 college basketball programs.

   With the Fieldhouse being so special the Liberty North students strive to create a college like atmosphere for the players and community.

   “The student section is always crazy, and the team flourishes off its energy. The jumbo tron gets everyone involved and engaged into the game,” sophomore Jack DeGarmo said.

     The Liberty North Students and fans also have a rare privilege of having a sports marketing class to keep the games interesting with their jumbotron videos and half time entertainment. The Fieldhouse has done wonders for the basketball program, helping them make it to state back to back years which they hope to continue this year with a third.
