The fall festival is an event held in downtown Liberty Missouri on the 4th full weekend of September every year and it has lots of amusement park rides, fall themed food, a fun atmosphere and lots more. Don’t forget about the parade and the chalk drawing competition, both are inclusive and lively events, all you have to do is show up.
“I loved how many people looked so happy to be there and it was great to see everyone getting along so well,” Erin Erdman said. There is a large number of people who go to the fall festival for the park rides as well as their constant drive to keep improving their park.
“There were a lot of fun games and rides to try, it was nice to see that they are still keeping up their parks and improving over time. I really like how they set up the booths so that everyone has lots of room and so it doesn’t feel too cramped, ” Jackson Spratt said.
Sometimes the people who run the food stands change up what they bring every year to keep the food feeling fresh and keep it feeling new and revamped every year.
“I really like the different kinds of fall food that they bring. I really like to go around and see what new kinds of food that they have every year. Recently I’ve really been enjoying the pumpkin flavored donuts and the funnel cake,” Erdman said. Historic Downtown Liberty Inc or HDLI for short always try their best to keep the square running well and making sure that it always looks neat.
“Its fun to see the square change over time as it gets closer to fall and see how all of the shops and people prepare for the fall festival. Every time I go up there they have new, better decor. I like how they are always trying to do better,” Spratt said.
