First Drop… Again

First+Drop%E2%80%A6+Again

Hi, I’m Bryson Prindle. I’m a junior here at LNHS and this is Prindle’s Perspective. Here I will talk mostly about things going on with movies, games, and other stuff that I enjoy. You can expect a lot of talk over Fortnite updates, and new Fallout content (Most likely 76), as well as Marvel, DC, and Star Wars movies or tv series.

We have gone back in time. That’s right, welcome back ladies and gentlemen, today we’re going back to OG Fortnite. This entire month in Fortnite is specifically designed to take us back to Chapter 1. Complete with a very familiar map, an unvaulted loot pool, and removal of certain features. Let’s drop into this real quick.

Kado Thornes time machine was stolen by Nolan Chase and his crew. Now we’ve gone back in time and are now on the Chapter 1 Season 5 map. We have the return of all the POIs(Points Of Interest), Tilted Towers, Lazy Links, Loot Lake, Haunted Hills, Dusty Divot, Salty Springs, Retail Row, Greasy Grove, Lucky Landing, Wailing Woods, Lonely Lodge, Paradise Palms, Flush Factory, Fatal Fields, Snobby Shores, Junk Junction, Pleasant Park, Risky Reels, and Tomato Temple. Our map is going to change every week to match each season after Season 5, starting this week with Season 6. This week Loot Lake has changed and now Kevin and his floating island are back. Next week, we should get back the snowy region of the Season 7 map as well as the pirate outposts from Season 8. Finally, on the last week of the season, the Zero Point will rise from Loot Lake once again, the meteor will freeze over Dusty, and The Sevens rocket should be back, but this time in the diner that replaced one of Dusty’s depots.
Next up our loot pool. To start the season off we got back the Grenade Launcher, OG Scar and Assault rifle, the Suppressed Assault Rifle, Silenced Pistol, SMG, Suppressed SMG, Light Machine Gun, Tactical Shotgun, Heavy Shotgun, Pump Shotgun, Burst Assault Rifle, and Rocket Launcher. As well as the Chug Jug, Port-A-Fort, Boogie Bomb, Smoke Grenade, Impulse Grenade, and Stink Bomb. Oh yeah and the ATK is back. This week we got back the Heavy Assault Rifle, Six Shooter, Double Barrel Shotgun, Clinger, Shockwave Grenade, Dynamite, Port-A-Fortress, Driftboard, and Quadcrasher. While our vaulted list included the Burst Assault Rifle, Heavy Shotgun, Remote Explosives, Impulse Grenade, Smoke Grenade, and Port-A-Fort.

Our Battle Pass this season is shorter due to the season only being a month long but we did get a couple fusion skins. Renegade Lynx which is a fusion between Renegade Raider and Lynx, Lil’ Split which is a fusion of Lil’ Whip and Peely, Omegarok being a fusion of Omega and Ragnorok, and Spectra Knight which is a fully customizable fusion of pretty much every knight skin released in Chapter 1. We also got a couple of other fusion skins in the Item Shop consisting of Raven Team Leader as a fusion of Raven and Cuddle Team Leader, Skulldrifter as a Skull Trooper and Drift, Fishdrift as Fishstick and Drift, Rift Strider Drift as Red Strike and Drift, Brite Hunter as Brite Bomber and the Dino Guard set, as well as Saura using the Dino Guard set and Aura.

This season is an absolute blast and so nostalgic. As of right now, my only complaint is that it isn’t long enough. However, whether or not you think it’s any good is up to you. That’s really all for this one so I’ll just wrap it up. As always, have fun, stay safe, and don’t be mean to people.
