Different Music Taste

Different+Music+Taste

Music has changed drastically throughout the decades. It all started during the

Paleolithic period (300,000 to 500,000 BP).

The first recorded music was on April 9th, 1860. The song “Au clair de le lune” by  Scott.

Since then, music has evolved greatly. From 50s slow love tunes to 2023s pop culture.

Alaina Begulia, a student here at Liberty North said, “ For me personally, My music taste is more on the Pop Culture side than anything else. From listening to, Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, The Creator and some others,”

According to Spotify Stats, The most music genre listens to more of the Pop Culture.

Spotify is the most used streaming service \ music app in the country according to Google’s Top Searches.

Freshman Violeta Cruz stated, “Music for me is a very good hobby on mine. Just a great hobby in general, my music taste is wide-ranging. I mostly listen to older music, like, the smiths, Elvis, Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers and some others,”

Like Violeta, People who like wide ranging music are more the quiet type of person, not to everyone though, you might like a lot of different music and be more outgoing than others.

You can tell how a person might feel or what their personality is like.

One might feel depressed so they listen to sadder music. Or very happy and they listen to uplifting music.

People everywhere might not have the same music taste as others, and that’s completely alright. You might even have a completely different taste in music than your own best friend.

If you’re even thinking about making music, SoundCloud is a wonderful place to start. Sound cloud offers a wide range of music you could make. You don’t have to be a professional to work on music or help make it. You can be a three year old and make the most wonderful sounds. A lot of popular rappers today used SoundCloud to get started.

Keith Snead, Sophomore, said, “Using soundCloud is a really great way to start a music carrer, it helped me a lot,”
