I spent a lot of time in hospitals and nursing homes when I was younger because of my grandma. Knowing why you want to do what you do is especially important if you want to do your dream job and Nurse Starnell knows this to be true. I got to know some of the nurses and decided that is what I wanted to do. I really enjoy working with teenage kids. Loving the atmosphere of your dream job can help you connect to it better than being surprised or uncomfortable with the environment of it. Nurse Starnell knows this to be a fact since she has enjoyed our school’s atmosphere for as long as she has worked here. The atmosphere is generally upbeat and so are the staff. 17 years in the district and year 15 at LNHS. I like how different everyone is but can still find ways to connect. Everyone has had a favorite color at some point even nurses like Nurse Starnell have had a favorite color. My favorite color is orange. Everyone has had a favorite fast food place they love to eat at and order from. My favorite fast food restaurant is Chipotle. People’s music taste might surprise others as certain genres are better or worse than others to some people. Starnell shared with me about what she considers to be her favorite song to listen to. My favorite song is Take me Home Country Roads. Everyone who has seen a Disney or Pixar film has had to have had a favorite at some point rather in their childhood or adulthood Disney films stick with us for years. Starnell’s  favorite Disney movie is Toy Story. Our school nurses are just like us staff and students in many ways at North.
