Senior Haley Webb has swung into action her last 4 years at North making sure to stay involved in her various activities including clubs and Varsity Golf.
“I’m involved in varsity Womens Golf, Females Empowered, Interact Club, manager for Womens Wrestling, and I’ve taken multiple AP and College classes throughout my time at North,” Webb said.
While being involved in different activities, Webb also makes sure to stay focused on school regardless of if she is in class or doing work at home.
“I can tell she also puts a lot of effort into her extracurriculars, she’ll miss a lot of school, but she always makes sure to make it up while still staying focused on her activities like golf and wrestling,” senior Zoe Hood said.
Keeping a good mindset has helped Webb manage a schedule full of extracurriculars on top of school. She makes sure to carry that mindset with her into those activities as well.
“She’s super positive and sweet. At wrestling, she always had an optimistic mindset and listens to us or gives us good advice. She’s always making sure to encourage us while also doing all of her manager stuff,” senior Kendra Littlejohn said.
Webb makes sure to prioritize helping her friends while also keeping up a positive environment.
“She is just a great person. She’s so funny and helpful, I love having class with her every day. She makes my school experience 10 times better. She has also been super helpful with my English homework when I’m struggling,” Hood said.
While trying to help her friends and classmates, Webb draws inspiration from a teacher who’s been a part of her years at North.
“I like how involved the teachers are, specifically Dr. Marcantonio, she’s my school mom, she takes everything I say into consideration and always gives me lots of advice about different things in my life,” Webb said.
