DevaCurl is a widely known hair care brand for people with curly hair. Their products became cult classics and started taking over the curly hair industry. In recent news, their company has started many issues and continues to lose supporters in the most recent news.

Their company has hair products for all ranges of curly hair. Hundreds of influencers went on brand trips, did paid campaigns with and encouraged their thousands of followers to purchase from this company. Some of the major influencers that work with the campaign started to come out about their issues with using this product. People have experienced hair loss, curls falling flat, burns or the hair and scalp drying out. Some have claimed the only good thing about DevaCurl is that they brought a helpful community of people together. One of the biggest upsets is DevaCurl products are not cheap. An average product of theirs cost between $30-$46. DevaCurl also recommends using all of their haircare lines for best results.

A lawsuit has been made against the company and is recommended to keep the bottles of the product if a person has experienced any of these symptoms. Everyone has started noticing these issues within the past year or two, but the lawsuit is just now taking off. It is speculated that when the company switched ownership, different ingredients started getting used in the products causing issues in all of their hairlines.
