KNET Award

The new year is starting out great for Liberty North’s very own KNET crew. They entered into a national live broadcasting competition and were one of five winners. This is their first time entering into this contest, so it was a huge success for them.

Our final product is on youtube for people to watch. But this show looked just like all the others except we made sure it was all higher quality and we added a split screen so we could have Jordan in the Fieldhouse to add cool effects,” senior Lindsey Downey said.

All of the KNET crew put in a lot of hard work and dedication to make this happen and they are proud of how good it all turned out. They will not know the first place winner until March, but to be one of five finalists is a huge accomplishment.

“It took lots of hard work, from everyone. We wanted it to look very professional so we all put 110% effort into making it the best show we could. We spent so much time preparing the show in front of the cameras and especially behind the scenes, shoutout to Jeff and Higgs for working so hard with us and getting everything set up. It was very stressful at times but it all turned out well,” Downey said.
