Collecting Gear

   Many students have unique hobbies and in Adam True’s case, it’s collecting army gear.

  “I started collecting military gear when I was very little, like five or six,” senior Adam True said.

  True has been collecting for over 10 years and has a particular fascination with Russian gear.

  “I look at their military and I just love how their color scheme is, and I just love how their history of conflict, from like World War 2, the Cold War, The Chechen war, and Afghanistan and all that,”  True Said

  True has stated his interest mostly stems from a cosmetic standpoint.

  “My favorite piece is my k63 Russian Special Forces Helmet because it’s a full head round helmet with ballistic visor and it’s awesome looking when put on,” True said.

  True’s military interest isn’t exclusively cosmetic though, as he has already enlisted for the US military.

  “After marine boot camp I will be, If I make it in one piece, I’ll be going for aircraft operation specialist,” True said.
