A Fabulous Homecoming for Freshman

September 30, 2018

There are many things in life that a person will remember, but only a few are really important. One thing many people think is important someone’s first school dance. A school dance is a special event for many. A first school dance is even more memorable.

“I am going to Homecoming. I think it will be a really cool experience and a lot of my friends are going so I think it will be a really good excuse to have fun. I also think it brings all the grades together because everybody can go,” freshman Jacob Aldridge said.

Any grade can go to homecoming. Before going, some freshman knew they would love it. Others didn’t know what they would think.

“Homecoming would be a fun opportunity to get dressed up with my friends, and because I don’t usually get dressed up I think it would be a fun time. Homecoming is sometimes overrated but everyone has been telling me their own opinions on it and this being my first Homecoming I don’t know what to expect,” freshman Audrey Culver said.

Many freshmen decided to go to Homecoming. It was a chance to meet new freshman, have fun, dance, and socialize.

“I don’t know if I will go to Homecoming every year. I will definitely go my freshman and senior year. I think those are the most important year to do stuff outside of school. My friends and I are going to get our nails done, and our hair done, get ready together, then have dinner. After that we are heading to Homecoming, I am excited about those plans, ” freshman Averi Mickelson said.
