Student Showing Student Around

Student’s that are new to Liberty North have the privilege of being shown around the school and brought from class to class for the first couple of day by a Student Ambassador member. The ladies in charge of putting student ambassadors together are, councilor Erin Dennis and councilor Emily Presser. Out of the numbers of students involved in student ambassadors, a few members are, sophomore Julia Nguyen, senior Allie Norman, and sophomore Glennae Cook.

Out of everyone who signed up to join student ambassadors a select number of students were picked to be apart this club. If you aren’t in student ambassadors this year, sign up for next year, and be apart of this club that many people put time and energy into.

“I joined the student ambassadors because I like helping out the new kinds and making people feel more comfortable about being in a new environment, ” sophomore Julia Nguyen said.

“I decided to join student ambassadors so I could meet new people, show them around the school, and make them feel welcomed, ” senior Allie Norman said.

“I originally was in student ambassadors when I was an eight grader. I was randomly assigned and fell in love so I decided if I liked it then, I’m doing it now,” sophomore Glennae Cook said.

The student ambassadors were all very excited to sign up, but it seems like they are even more excited now that they actually can start.

“I’m most excited to help and meet as many new students as possible. I am also excited to be apart of such an amazing leadership opportunity, ” sophomore Glennae Cook said.

“I am most excited for the many opportunities to meet new people and get to know them, ” senior Allie Norman said.

Not only are they all excited to meet new people they also think this club is very helpful to others by helping them find out how to get around the school. They all find helping others is a great use of time.

“I do think it is a good club because if we didn’t have it the school would have a lot of confused kids walking around, ” sophomore Julia Nguyen said.

“I think student ambassadors is a great club because when you are new to a school or a district, it is always great to have a helping hand to show you the way, ” sophomore Glennae Cook said.

“I think student ambassadors is a good club because it gives new students the opportunity to meet someone new and make a friend before they find themselves looking for somewhere to sit in the lunch room, ” senior Allie Norman said.
